Behind the scenes

A great deal of work went into the creation of this website and the oral history interviews conducted with it.  We had a stellar cast of staff and youth volunteers who put in considerable time to this project.

Take a look at our behind the scenes photos by clicking the link on the right and share a laugh with us as we remember our journey together!

Interview with Brinda Sampathkumar

The Sampathkumars are longtime residents of Weston. Three generations of their family have used the Weston Library. Here, Brinda speaks about her experience using the Weston Branch.

What Goes on Before the Interviews

This is an image of some of Gobiga, Theresa and Love from Weston's Youth Advisory Group and staff member Jorge Rivera (Former Project Leader) waiting for an interviewee to arrive (clockwise from left to right).

The Set

This is an image taken on the day of Brinda Sampathkumar's interivew. Brinda, seen seated at the table speaking to Jorge Rivera (Weston Branch staff, Fomer Project Leader), is in the midst of signing paperwork for the interview. These forms give Brinda's consent for the Weston YAG to film her interview and post it on the internet. Gobiga, seated, and Theresa, standing behind Gobiga, pose for the camera.
