Terry Fox

Terry Fox began his Marathon of Hope run across Canada in St. John’s, Newfoundland to raise awareness and money for cancer research. Canadians across the country were stirred by his courage. Tragically, his run ended in Thunder Bay, Ontario after it was discovered that cancer had spread to his lungs. The Terry Fox Run continues to be held annually across Canada and around the world raising funds for cancer research.
