This pen and ink drawing shows the fatal shooting of Col. Robert Moodie outside John Mongomery's tavern during the Upper Canada Rebellion of 1837.
The tavern was located near Yonge & Montgomery, on the site of the big post office building that stands on the northwest corner, which is now the Anne Johnston Health Station.
