Description

Queen Victoria was the longest reigning monarch in the history of the United Kingdom. She reigned as Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 1837 to her death on January 22, 1901. When she died, the loyal city of Toronto draped its public buildings in black mourning cloth.
