Donovan Bailey wins gold and sets 100-metre world record

Toronto Star photographer Bernard Weil caught Donavan Bailey’s reaction moments after he crossed the finish line – winning a gold medal for Canada and setting a 100-metre world record at the Atlanta Olympics. The image became the first photograph taken with a digital camera to win a National Newspaper Award.
