<p>Jean Gove-Carbone’s father, James Gilbert Gove, was the stone mason who built the original river stone retaining wall around the perimeter of Weston Library. Jean grew up in Weston – she attended to King Street Public School (now the site of H.J. Alexander) and frequented the Weston Library.</p>
Jean is now 85 and lives in South Carolina. Jean has written other memory pieces about her life in Weston for Heritage Weston.
