Description

Weston Town Hall, also known as "Dufferin Hall," opened in December 1883 at the northwest corner of today's Weston Road and Little Avenue. In 1884, it became home to the Weston Mechanics' Institute, and subsequently from 1895 to 1914 to the successor Weston Public Library, which occupied two rooms in the back of the Hall until the Carnegie Library opened in December 1914.
